| Skills2Film is a fast growing and dynamic film and media training company based in Bath that offers bespoke and scheduled Camera Craft and Production Skills workshops, catering for the needs of both broadcast and corporate companies. Set up in 2008 by Jeremy Humphries, an award winning Director of Photography and highly experienced cameraman with over 26 years experience in the industry, it is the first training company of its kind in the West of England and is fast becoming a Centre of Excellence in the UK. In the last year, the company has been offering more and more training to corporate companies who want to improve camera and production skills within their own communications and training departments and to charities and government bodies who want more effective ways to get their messages across. Strong links are also being built with the multi-media industry as an increasing number of companies are now using filmed content on their websites. Alongside camera craft skills, Jeremy has built a ‘Reel of Experience’ with his associate trainers offering courses in all filming related areas, including directing, location managing, sound and presentation skills. All are practising professionals who are likely to be shooting one day and training the next. In addition to scheduled courses run throughout the year, the company runs very popular bespoke courses for a company or for an individual’s particular needs, such as a specialist filming requirement or how to train up a whole team.
